Los miembros de Franz Ferdinand son los últimos invitados de la serie Late Night Tales, en la que un artista selecciona canciones favoritas en un único álbum.
Los escoceses tendrán así su Late Night Tales (2014), que será publicado el 15 de septiembre e incluirá, además de las canciones elegidas por Alex Kapranos y compañía, una revisión por parte del cuarteto del tema «Leaving My Old Life Behind» de Jonathan Halper.
