Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) continúa de celebración por su 40 aniversario con el anuncio de una caja especial: Souvenir y un nuevo recopilatorio con sus mejores éxitos que saldrán el 4 de octubre. La caja incluye 5 CD y 2 DVD, junto a un libro de tapa dura, un póster y una serie de 10 postales.
Además de la caja, también se pondrá a la venta un recopilatorio en formato 2 CD y 3 LP con sus grandes éxitos que abarca los 40 años de carrera de OMD. Esto incluye todos los sencillos, desde “Electricity” a “What Have We Done”, así como su nuevo sencillo “Don´t Go”, exclusivo de este lanzamiento.
OMD ha vendido la asombrosa cifra de 25 millones de singles y 15 millones de álbumes, lo que los ha establecido como pioneros en el uso de sintetizadores electrónicos y uno de los grupos pop más queridos de Gran Bretaña. Sus 13 álbumes incluyen Orchestral Maneuvers in The Dark (1980), Organization (1980), Architecture & Morality (1981) y Dazzle Ships (1983).
